She sighed. Had anyone else asked her about it, she would have shut her mouth and told them to go away. In far less kind terms. But this was Val.
So, she began. "I.. I guess I've had a hard time fitting in. I mean. Getting people to notice me. It just seemed so easy for you, but when I tried everything I saw you do.. well, I guess, there were just some girls that do it.. better." she said.
"So, the other night, there was this party. And I mean, of course I was invited." She might not be as good as Val was, but that didn't mean she wasn't off her game or anything.
