In the Interest of Education [RP for lionhearted_rabbit]

Vincent and Bethany had been warned that parenting in the digital age was a whole set of new challenges that the previous generation had never even had to dream of, let alone face. But they were both determined to give their daughter Alicia as much freedom and independence as they could, while still keeping her safe. When the monitoring software that they had installed on Alicia's laptop returned the information that she had been visiting porn video sites, the discussion between them had been serious and long, but eventually, they reached an agreement.

To say that the Lees were considering unusual and unconventional parenting methods was an understatement, but they knew their daughter and one another, and they knew they were doing the right thing.

When Alicia arrived back home after school, both Vincent and Bethany called her into their bedroom.

Having just entered high school, Alicia had started to push her boundaries, trying to figure out what she could and couldn't get away with. Mostly, this manifested in the usual ways: pushing against curfews, listening to loud music, sneaking drinks, and all that.

What she had been doing on her computer, however, was not an issue of pushing boundaries. She hadn't wanted her parents to find out about that. She hadn't wanted anyone to find out about that. Girls didn't look at porn, or at least, that was the common wisdom.

She didn't know what it was they could want to talk with her about, so she cautiously went into their bedroom. "What is it...?"

"Sit down, honey," Bethany said, patting the edge of the bed beside her. Vincent was standing nearby, arms folded loosely in front of him.

"Alicia, when your mother and I agreed to buy you a laptop, we made a deal with you that it wasn't to be used for anything inappropriate. We had talks about respecting yourself and your body, and all that. We just want to keep you safe, and until now, everything has been fine." He took a paper off the dresser and handed it to Alicia. "This is a list of the websites you've visited in the last month. Can you tell us why you're looking at adult videos?"

She blinked, as her parents started speaking to her, though when her father started talking she knew immediately what it was referencing. She didn't even have to look at the list of websites. Sure, she figured they'd probably catch her sooner or later, but this?

"..You're... spying on me?"

Vincent stood firm. They'd expected this kind of reaction, and really, they could understand. But both parents still felt they were in the right. "The internet can be a dangerous place, sweetheart. And more than anything in the world, your mother and I want you to be safe and taken care of. We don't monitor everything, but we do get alerts if you visit certain sites."

Bethany continued to stay on the supportive side of the process. "We're only looking out for you. So please, answer your father's question. Why were you looking at these videos? You can tell us anything. You've always been so honest with us."

She started blushing furiously then, and tried to pass it off as her being angry about the spying. "Geez, it wasn't like I was in some kind of... pervy chat room or anything, okay? I was just looking at a few videos!" she said, crossing her arms.

"I mean. I just wanted to see what it looked like!"

"We understand, honey," Bethany reassured her, reaching out to rub her daughter's shoulders. "That's perfectly natural for you to be curious."

Vincent nodded. "The problem with pornography, Alicia, is that it sets a very unrealistic example, especially for young people who don't have personal experience. Your mother and I encourage your curiosity, but we want you to get good information for it."

He sighed. "And so, we've decided that no matter what, any questions or things you're wondering about when it comes to sex, we will make sure to answer honestly. If you're curious about something, then we'll make sure that gets satisfied."

She blinked at that. That wasn't where she had imagined this conversation would go.

"So you're not mad.. about... about me looking at porn?"

Then she processed the rest of what they said.

"What do you mean...unrealistic? I.. I guess I don't even know what that means in this context." she admitted. "I mean, the girl's, uh..." she emphasized her own chest for a moment, "were obviously fake, but it's not like I'd want anything that big bolted onto my chest..."

"No, sweetheart," Vincent assured her. "Being curious about sex is healthy and natural for a girl your age. And not being sure about coming to us about questions is totally understandable. I felt the same way. But that's what we're telling you know, Alicia. You can ask us any questions, ask us anything." His hand stroked the girl's golden hair, comforting her as he always had.

Bethany nodded at the questions that followed. "Porn is almost always made in a way that emphasizes the man's pleasures first and foremost. It can make girls think that they should automatically just do whatever a guy wants, no matter what. While some women do like to be taken charge of, lots of others don't. And sex doesn't always have to be that acrobatic or kinky or loud and hard all the time."

Alicia tried to process that for a bit. "Um.. that's good. Because I don't think I'd be loud, and I definitely can't bend that way."

...She blushed fiercely, realizing what she just said. "I mean! Not that I've thought about that in detail or anything!!" she backpedaled.

Vincent found that he couldn't quite hide the momentary smile that crossed his face. Bethany had much the same opinion of herself when they'd first gotten together, and she'd been proven wrong quickly enough. His wife's expression let him know that Bethany had read his mind and agreed, but she put the focus back on Alicia.

"It's okay, honey. Like we said, curiosity is natural. So is fantasizing. It's all very normal and healthy."

Vincent ran a finger along his daughter's cheek. "Come on, there must be something you're curious about, something you can ask us and we can answer so you know we mean it."

She blinked. "Um... anything?" she asked, blushing a bit at the touch of his finger.

"I guess..." she thought about it. "I guess I would want to know.. if that's not what it's like, what is it like? I guess I just came away from watching those videos more.. confused and intimidated than turned on."

"Well, sweetie," Bethany began cautiously, "it should be something that's for the pleasure and benefit of everyone involved, not just one person or to look good for the camera. The person your with should have your needs and satisfaction on their mind, not just their own." With a bit of a blush of her own, she turned her daughter's attention to her husband.

"I know it sounds a little weird to say, Alicia, but there's no guy in the world better at taking care of his girl in bed than your Dad." It was time to take the plunge.

"And if you'd like him to show you what that means... if you want to know what it's like to be that taken care of... we've decided you should."

She blushed furiously at that. "Wait. You mean... you want me to.. with.. Dad?" she stammered. Surely, that wasn't something her mind had ever even considered before then. He was her father, after all. She didn't even know if she could bring herself to do such a thing.

But.. at the same time, if they were offering that much...

"Um. I... I guess?" she started. "I guess I would at least like to see what, uh, you know.. one of those looks like up close?"

Vincent let out a long, relieved breath. Alicia hadn't run out the door, screaming. In fact, she seemed fairly amenable to the idea. Glancing over at Bethany, his wife gave him a nod, silently giving him the go-ahead to proceed. He shifted closer to their daughter and smiled. "Well, I think we'll get to that soon enough, but your Mom and I wanted you to know how good it can be in every way."

Holding his breath again, he put his hands on his daughter's beautiful face and leaned in, closing his mouth over hers, kissing her gently at first, and then with more fervor. Bethany stayed close, her hands stroking Alicia's shoulders and arms while she made quiet, encouraging noises and considering the sudden urge that had just sprung to mind, the one that made Bethany wonder about kissing her daughter as well.

Alicia blushed fiercely. She hadn't expected her dad to kiss her! She didn't even know if she wanted to be kissed! And certainly there wasn't that much kissing in the videos she'd watched.

At least.. not on the mouth.

So, even with the encouragement from her mom, she broke the kiss after a moment and took a couple deep breaths. "That... felt weird." she said. She didn't know what to think about it yet.

"That's where it starts, though, honey," Bethany explained softly. "You should take your time. You and your partner should be willing to build up to everything else. Unless, I suppose, you're just feeling kind of... needing it."

Vincent nodded. "Is that how you're feeling, honey? Do you need to just jump into it?"

Alicia thought about that for a moment. "Um. Well, can I... say that the kissing part is a little weird, and.. we can skip over that and keep going to the other things?" she asked.

"I'll tell you when I'm okay to come back to it. Is that.. alright?"

Vincent nodded. He reached out again, this time grasping at Alicia's clothing, helping her out of it. Bethany, knowing that their daughter wouldn't want to be the only one naked, started doing the same to her husband, tugging off his shirt and pants while he was busy.

Alicia stood up so that her father could help her out of her clothing. She hadn't necessarily been expecting sex or anything even remotely resembling it, so the underwear she was wearing was more functional than frivolous. Which was another thing that caused her to blush and, reflexively, try to hide her body with her arms as she was undressed.

"Um.. s-sorry..."
